THE FMHA “Museum Happenings” is published monthly to keep you up-to-date on Happenings at the Fort Miles Museum. This blog focuses on AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER, and, as noted, the blog will be updated monthly (or more frequently, as needed) thereafter. The blog will also include information about other scheduled events at Cape Henlopen State Park.

With the busy SUMMER SEASON in full swing, FMHA is pleased to announce the Fort Miles Museum will be open for FMHA docent conducted tours each Sunday in August and September. Tours will be offered at 11AM, Noon and 1PM. The Museum will open at 11AM in time for the first tour and will close at 3PM. Tour admission is $5 per person, with children under 7 free. A family rate of $15 is also available. Delaware State Park entrance fees do apply in order to enter Cape Henlopen State Park. Throughout each week, Battery 519 tours are also available through Delaware Sate Parks (“DSP”). These tours are conducted by knowledgable DSP interpretative guides and are offered at 11AM and 2PM Tuesday – Saturday.

The kiosk will have FMHA merchandise for sale as well as water and snacks. Thanks to the FMHA Bunker Busters for constructing the kiosk and to the Gift Shop volunteers for staffing the new kiosk.
