January Film & Lecture, Pearl Harbor, Draws Packed House
The Fort Miles Museum is expanding its public programming in 2017, highlighted by a new World War II Film & Lecture Series. The Series will be a part of a monthly Museum Open House, starting on Saturday January 28th. The new programs are in addition to regularly scheduled tours of Battery 519 and the Museum’s Art Gallery.

THE FMHA “Museum Happenings” is published monthly to keep you up-to-date on Happenings at the Fort Miles Museum. This blog focuses on MARCH AND APRIL, and, as noted, the blog will be updated monthly (or more frequently, as needed) thereafter. The blog will also include information about other scheduled events at Cape Henlopen State Park.

FMHA was saddened by the death of Dan Lyons, a long standing and energetic Member of the FMHA Board.
Dan passed away peacefully at home on November 5 2016. Dan’s interest in Fort Miles stemmed from his service in the United States Air Force, where he served as a Transportation Officer. Following his military service, Dan had a long and successful career in the transportation and logistics industry.

On May 14, 2016, John Schroeder cut the ribbon to the new Fort Miles art gallery, as Brax Hudson to his right, and sister, Carole and brother Rob watched.
